This Privacy Policy describes how MarZ Licensing, LLC ("MarZ," "Company," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise processes personal information in connection with websites, webpages, ecommerce stores, subscription services, member stores, customer support channels, social media pages, marketing programs, surveys, promotions, and other online or offline services that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the "Services").

MarZ operates and supports subscription commerce, ecommerce, brand licensing, marketplace, media, and related consumer product businesses, including businesses operated under license from third-party brand owners. Through the Services, we may market and sell beauty, grooming, lifestyle, wellness, fashion, and related products directly to consumers on a subscription basis, through member stores, limited-edition drops, promotional campaigns, or other commerce experiences.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understand this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our practices, please do not use the Services.

Our Terms of Use govern your use of the Services. Any capitalized terms not defined in this Privacy Policy have the meanings given to them in the Terms of Use.

The Services are intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Services or make a purchase through the Services.

1. Personal Information We Collect

The personal information we collect depends on how you interact with us. We may collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers, such as name, email address, postal address, billing address, shipping address, telephone number, account username, online identifiers, IP address, device identifiers, and other similar identifiers.
  • Contact information, such as email address, phone number, billing address, delivery address, and shipping address.

  • Payment-related information, such as payment card details, billing information, payment tokens, payment status, and transaction confirmation information. Payment card information is processed by our payment processors; we generally do not store full payment card numbers.
  • Commercial and transaction information, such as purchase history, subscription details, renewal status, cancellation history, product preferences, products viewed or purchased, cart activity, member store activity, promotional code use, returns, refunds, chargebacks, and customer service history.
  • Account information, such as username, password, account profile information, address book information, order history, saved preferences, and communication preferences.
  • Internet, device, and network activity information, such as IP address, device type, browser type, operating system, referring and exit pages, pages viewed, links clicked, search terms, access times, length of visit, browsing behavior, purchase behavior, cart abandonment activity, and interactions with our emails, advertisements, and other digital content.
  • Geolocation information, such as approximate location inferred from your IP address or shipping address. We do not seek to collect precise geolocation from your device unless we provide notice and obtain consent where required by law.
  • Audio, electronic, visual, or similar information, such as call recordings or chat transcripts when you contact customer support, photographs or videos you submit, or content you tag or share with us on social media.
  • User content and communications, such as product reviews, comments, survey responses, quiz responses, sweepstakes entries, emails, chat messages, customer support communications, social media messages, testimonials, and other content you choose to provide.
  • Marketing and preference information, such as interests, product preferences, communication preferences, referral information, loyalty or membership activity, and responses to marketing campaigns.
  • Inferences and derived information, such as product preferences, likely interests, shopping patterns, subscription preferences, audience segments, and other information we derive from your activity, transactions, or interactions with us.
  • Sensitive personal information, where applicable, such as account login credentials, payment-related information, and information that may reveal health, skin, allergy, or similar preferences if you voluntarily provide it in a survey, quiz, product review, customer support request, or personalization experience. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes of inferring characteristics about you unless permitted by law or with your consent.

2. How We Collect Personal Information

We collect personal information directly from you when you create an account, subscribe to a box, purchase a product, add items to your cart, make a payment, update your account, contact customer service, submit a review, respond to a survey or quiz, enter a promotion or sweepstakes, sign up for email or text communications, interact with us on social media, or otherwise communicate with us.

We and our vendors may automatically collect information when you access or use the Services, open or click our emails, interact with our advertisements, or engage with our digital content. This may include information collected through cookies, pixels, tags, SDKs, web beacons, embedded scripts, local storage, and other tracking technologies.

We may receive information about you from other sources, including payment processors, fulfillment providers, fraud prevention vendors, data analytics providers, advertising networks, social media platforms, customer support providers, marketing partners, data enrichment providers, referral partners, brand partners, co-branded promotion partners, public databases, commercially available sources, and other customers, such as when someone sends you a gift or refers you to us.

We may derive information or draw inferences about you based on the information we collect, such as inferring product preferences from purchases, browsing activity, survey responses, or interactions with our marketing.

3. Cookies and Similar Tracking Technologies

5. Text Messaging and Mobile Communications

If you opt in to receive text messages, you agree to receive recurring automated promotional and personalized marketing SMS and/or MMS messages from MarZ. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary.

You may opt out of marketing text messages at any time by replying STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT. For help, reply HELP or contact us at privacy@marzlicensing.com.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in or consent status with third parties for their own unrelated marketing purposes.

6. How We Disclose Personal Information

We may disclose personal information to service providers and contractors, payment processors, fulfillment and logistics partners, advertising and analytics partners, brand partners and licensors, social media platforms, professional advisors, government authorities, and parties to business transactions.

We may disclose aggregated or deidentified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

7. Interest-Based Advertising, Analytics, and Cookie Choices

We may work with advertising networks, social media platforms, analytics providers, affiliate networks, and other ad tech partners to collect information about your interactions with the Services and other websites over time. Depending on applicable law, these activities may be considered "targeted advertising," "sharing," or a "sale" of personal information.

Where required, you may opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or sharing by using the cookie settings or "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link made available on the applicable website. You may also use a legally recognized opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control.

8. Your Privacy Choices

You may unsubscribe from promotional emails by following the instructions included in those emails. You may opt out of marketing text messages by replying STOP. You may manage cookies through your browser settings. Where required by applicable law, we will treat a legally recognized opt-out preference signal as a request to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to provide the Services, manage accounts and subscriptions, process transactions, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, maintain records, and support legitimate business operations.

10. How We Protect Personal Information

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no security measure or transmission over the Internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children's Privacy

The Services are directed to adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We also do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16 years of age. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it as required by law. This section supplements the rest of this Privacy Policy and applies to residents of U.S. states with comprehensive consumer privacy laws.

The Services are operated from the United States and are intended for users located in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your personal information may be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

The Services may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, ecommerce platforms, marketplaces, payment processors, social media platforms, advertising networks, brand partner websites, affiliate networks, or other third-party services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, products, services, or policies of third parties.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the effective date above. If we make material changes, we may provide additional notice.
